What time does the conference start and end?

Conference starts on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 9:00 AM and ends Sunday, October 8 at noon. Check-in opens at 8:00 AM on Saturday, October 7, 2023.

What will we be doing?

There will be three main sessions, breakouts sessions, free time, and the opportunity to connect with other men from Central and your campus.

Is there a minimum age requirement?

The Elevate conference is open to men ages 16 years and up. However, we ask that anyone under 18 be accompanied by an adult who is their relative.

What is the registration fee?

The conference cost is $250 for an individual until July 2. On July 3 the registration fee goes up to $295.

Are there payment plans available?

Yes. You will be required to make an initial payment of $100 for an individual registration. Your balance will be due by October 1, 2023. You can make as many payments as you want until your balance is paid in full.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

Attendees will be rooming with another attendee. You can ask to room with a family member or friend who has also registered. If there’s a circumstance that requires you to have your own room, please contact Gil Nisleit • gil.nisleit@centralaz.com. Rooming by yourself will depend on availability and will come with additional cost.

How can I get there if I cannot drive myself?

Once you have registered, a campus lead will reach out to you to make sure you have transportation to the conference.

What if I don't know anyone attending Elevate?

That’s all right and is actually the best way to attend the conference. It’s an opportunity to meet other men who attend your campus. Your campus lead will also make sure you get the opportunity to connect with other guys from your campus.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know what dietary restrictions you have. We can accommodate some dietary restrictions.

Guest Speaker Shane Philip

Shane is the founding Senior Pastor of The Crossing Church in Las Vegas, NV. The Crossing launched in 2000 and has grown to 3 locations in Las Vegas and a global reach with partners in 14 countries. Shane has performed weddings in helicopters with Elvis and in a Castle outside of Paris. He has been briefly detained in Mexico and was given a different last name in Cuba. Shane married his high school sweetheart, Darla, 37 years ago, and they have three children and two grandchildren.

Who is this for?

This event is for all guys that are high school aged and older. Whether you are looking to connect with other men of faith, be encouraged, challenged or grow deeper in your faith this is for you!

What if I don’t know anyone going? Will I feel awkward?

We get it—walking into a room full of strangers is intimidating. Here's the thing: most guys feel the same way. That's why we built this conference around connection. You'll get a chance to meet others over dinner, free time and some fun games like . Plus, our guys are intentionally welcoming—no cliques, no insider knowledge required.

What's the format? Am I going to be bored?

It’ll start at 4pm and be done by 8pm so it’s not an all day commitment. We’ll have a time of engaging worship and hear a few encouraging talks to challenge us to think differently. But we’ll spend just as much time eating and having fun! Plus some practical takeaways you can actually use. No death-by-PowerPoint here.

What if I'm not "religious enough" for this?

You don't need a theology degree or perfect church attendance. This conference is for guys at every stage of their faith journey—including those just exploring what it means. Come as you are.

Is this going to be weird or overly "churchy"?

Nope. We're not doing the awkward hand-holding circle or asking you to share your deepest feelings with strangers. This is designed by guys, for guys. Real talk, practical content, and respect for the fact that men process differently. Our goal is to no force you into anything that feels inauthentic.

What if I can't afford it right now?
