Vision

The Central Leadership Internship exists to identify, form, and deploy current and emerging leaders by equipping them spiritually and professionally for vocational ministry. As a developmental pipeline for emerging leaders within Central and beyond, this program strengthens the long-term health of the church by forming spiritually grounded, emotionally healthy, and mission-ready leaders.

• Length: 20 Weeks (Beginning August 3, 2026-Christmas Services)

• Weekly Meeting: Mondays, 4:00–5:30 PM (Tempe Campus)

• Central Young Adults: Mondays at 7:00 PM (Tempe Campus)

• Time Commitment: 8–12 hours per week

Common Questions

Each CLI Intern is placed within a ministry area to gain hands-on ministry experience for a 1-semester term, August 3, 2026 - December 23, 2026.

Interns are expected to be on-site 8-12 hours a week.

Yes! Central is a multi-site church that may require driving to other campuses.

This internship is unpaid; however, depending on the ministry track you choose and the requirements of your college or university, you may be eligible to receive academic credit. We encourage you to check with your school to determine if your participation would qualify.
