Laundry Project

Students (grade 7-12) have an opportunity to join us in transforming laundromats into beacons of hope and community connection through the Laundry Project. This meaningful service opportunity allows students to directly impact lower-income families by helping meet one of their most basic needs – clean clothes and linens. As a volunteer, you'll assist families with their laundry and create a warm, caring environment that builds dignity and community relationships. Donations will cover laundry materials, machine fees, and program costs, ensuring that families receive this essential service at no charge. This fundraising component not only makes the program possible but also deepens your investment in the mission, as you'll personally contribute to removing barriers and creating opportunities for connection across economic divides.

What does clean laundry mean to a family in need?

It means a child walking into school with confidence, a parent showing up to a job interview with dignity, and a family experiencing one less worry in their daily struggle. Your donation to the Laundry Project helps our junior high and high school students transform laundromats into places of hope while covering the cost of soap, dryer sheets, and machine fees for lower-income families in our community. Every dollar you give removes a barrier and creates an opportunity for our young volunteers to serve with compassion and build meaningful connections across economic divides.

Registration is $30 per student (due at sign-up and cannot be fundraised) to help cover some of the program costs. Then, share this fundraising link with friends, family, and neighbors to raise additional support for The Laundry Project and multiply your impact!
